Praxis pitches AI-assisted digital nation in Uruguay

The world’s first digital nation.

Creating new cultural, economic, and governance systems for the post-AGI world.

Digital Nation

Bitcoin gave our generation its own currency. We are using AI to create our own country.

A nation that begins online, unites people through a shared culture, and uses AI to facilitate collective action to create a new city in the physical world.

Campaign I · Commit to Move

Help bring a city into existence.

Describe your dream city and commit to move. Our shared demand can unlock the location, financing, and partners to build it.

Praxis I · Uruguay

Luxury residences and resorts.

Stripped classicism for the present day. Stone, bronze, and water, set out with the discipline of the Italian Rationalists.

Our first residential project, Praxis I, is in Uruguay. Praxis designs homes, hotels, and clubs for its members, built to the standard of the world’s finest hotels and made to last.

Phase I

Beginning in +Colonia.

A waterfront neighborhood of private residences, a resort, and spaces for art and music.

We are developing the first phase of Praxis Uruguay in partnership with +Colonia, a new city taking shape beside Colonia del Sacramento. Together, we are building the homes and shared spaces for residents, fellows, and guests. The first residents will move into existing buildings as the neighborhood develops around them.

Under construction at +Colonia, September 2026. The first residents will live in these buildings while the Praxis neighborhood takes shape around them. Photographs: The New York Times.

An autonomous political entity

AI for collective action

We’re building toward an autonomous nation that uses AI to understand its members, coordinate shared goals, and improve with each campaign—guided by a constitution and human oversight, and powered by an AI token budget.

What AI could uncover

Who would move—and what would it take?

AI connects friends, budgets, and shared needs to find the city’s first residents.

Life in Praxis.

Using AI wealth to fund culture creation.

A home for a new generation of founders, artists, musicians, and designers. The people building the AI economy want a culture worth belonging to. We’re bringing them together to turn AI wealth into art, music, film, nightlife, and the spaces where it happens.

Praxis Development

Real estate for the world after AGI.

As AI creates more wealth, the best places to live will remain scarce. We believe that will make exceptional land more valuable.

Praxis plans to acquire land and develop homes, neighborhoods, and cities around a shared culture.

Government partnerships

Bring the AI economy to your country.

Partner with Praxis to attract foreign direct investment, AI companies, and the people shaping technology and culture.

Our ambition is to turn the wealth created by AI into new businesses, jobs, and places people want to live.
